Purtrex / RO save type cartridge filters (depth) are suitable and recommended for use in traditional filtrations, for the removal of solid particles from the fluid, often responsible for the early fouling of subsequent treatment systems.
Typical applications for the use of Purtrex filters (80% efficiency) / RO save (90% efficiency) are often the pretreatment of membrane separation plants (reverse osmosis, nanofiltration, ultrafiltration) in the purification and chemical treatment field (with wide range of resistance), of galvanic baths, etc.
The filters are entirely made of Polypropylene in accordance with the American FDA prescriptions (food product requirements), without the addition of lubricants, antistatic agents or other additives.
The RO.SAVE product line (Z.PLEX technology) has an external surface that is heat treated (cleaner), while the inner surface is stiffened to give it structural strength, without having a separate core.
The density of the fibers is increasing towards the inside in order to obtain a differentiated porosity and further increase the efficiency of the cartridge (the larger particles stop in the outer layers, the smaller ones in the inner layers).
