Ceramic laboratory membranes, thanks to their extremely high chemical and physical stability, Their exceptional separation characteristics and long service life are ideal for many applications in the chemical and pharmaceutical industry or in water and wastewater treatment.
Ceramic materials are generally very stable chemically, thermally and mechanically and in addition are frequently bio-inert.
These membranes can be used in the MEMBRATEST system designed by Sepra or other commercially available similar equipment.
The MEMBRATEST system must simply be connected to a process line where the liquid to be treated is available or to a feed tank previously loaded with an appropriate amount of solution (normally 5-200 liters). It is then possible to make a sample separation, batch or continuous. The fuel tank can also be used for washing.
