The FRIESS oil separators allow you to remove the oil present on the surface of any tank, by continuously rotating a floating tube built in a ring, to which the oil adheres. The tube then passes into the body of the oil separator, where a ceramic scraper allows the detachment of the oil which is then collected outside the tank.
All the oils and floating fats, in particular old oil, mineral and vegetable oils, animal fats as well as the oil-containing foam, are therefore eliminated, by means of the oil separator, from the water in a calm zone (generally a tank). The motion of the flowing water conveys the oil to the floating tube.
Companies in all sectors make use of the exploitability of the oil separators: the automotive, chemical, paper and steel industry, heat treatment departments, die-casting and aluminum foundries, machine factories, train repair companies and airplanes as well as food producers and finally companies operating in the field of waste disposal and waste oils.
